Toe AdjustmentToe at the front wheels is adjusted by changing the length of the right (passenger-side) steering tie rod. Because camber also affects toe, toe adjustments should be made only after camber adjustments are final. Loosen the locknut, and turn the tie rod to thread it into or out of the tie rod end, increasing or decreasing the overall tie-rod length. Large toe adjustments may also require centering the steering rack or the steering wheel. See 7. Steering for more information. Rear wheel toe is not adjustable. Rear wheel toe which does not meet specifications suggests a damaged rear axle beam or rear stub axle. See 6. Rear Suspension for more information. |
